We have a date for the Death Conference!

We are excited to announce the date for the death conference. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 16, 2021!  Please read the details below. As of August, we are accepting proposals from presenters for conference workshops. Registration will be opening soon, so check back.

Purpose/Mission Statement for the Conference

This is a conference for Celtic polytheists who seek more information and ideas about planning for a good death, whether it is our own, that of a beloved, or someone we are a caregiver for in our work or personal life. Having good information, and building a community conversation around death work and death practices will help us all make better choices, and will help us be more at ease with this important mystery.  We intend for this conference to be a safe and inclusive space for BIPOC and LGBTQIA++ people.

We are now seeking conference presenters

During August, 2021, we’re seeking applications from presenters for workshops on a range of topics. These might include:

  • creating rituals for before, during, or after a death
  • preparing for a good death for yourself, or a member of your family or spiritual community
  • tending to the ancestors / gravetending / gravekeeping
  • the work of a death doula in the dying process
  • psychopomp work
  • the stories, myths, and folklore surrounding death in Celtic polytheist traditions

Ready to propose a workshop? Please CLICK HERE to fill out the presenter application.

Thank you for your interest in this conference.  We are excited to sponsor it.
